Dealing with Reality_Post 2016 US Presidential Election

Nobody gives a shit!

Let me repeat. Nobody gives a shit except the other losers around you.

Deal with the reality that there isn’t going to be a President Hillary Clinton. The 45th President of the United States of America will be Donald John Trump. Whether you choose to coalesce behind President-elect Trump or criticize/obstruct him is entirely within your constitutional right.

Keep in mind however that if you’re in your mid twenties, 30s, 40s or older and still waiting on big government to solve your problems, then buckle up because you’re in for an agonizingly long, miserable and unfulfilling existence.

Complaining, whining and reacting to the current political situational context or events that are beyond your control will not add value to your life. Riding the emotional roller coaster of what ifs is a grand waste of time and will only bring you heartache.

If you want a better life, then it is up to you to pursue the path that will lead you to your intended destination. The reason why so many people are despondent and remain stuck is because they are always looking for someone else to do for them what they have the ability to do for themselves. It is time to stop looking for some mystical/mythical figure to solve your problems. No one is looking for you. No one is coming to rescue you.

Life is phenomenal!

We live in the greatest era of human existenceEVER! This is the greatest time on Earth to be alive. The fact that the universe honored us with the highest evolutionary position out of billions of species is a reason to celebrate. As a result of our unique place in the cosmos, our primary endeavor should be to live a life of purposean existence that finds compelling ways to improve the lives of others.

Despite what is going on around you, you can choose NOT to allow negativity, pessimism, fear and indifference to direct your life. You can choose to follow your effort. You can choose to be productive. You can choose to focus on opportunities. You can choose to create your passions. And you can choose to celebrate life.
