Did you know that it takes certain species of seeds years to break through the ground? Imagine being a farmer and having to wait years to see your precious crop experience its first day in the sunlight. Success, much like farming, is primarily a game of waiting. Just because you cannot see progress doesn’t mean that growth—something phenomenal, is not taking place.
Farming necessitates having patience over long stretches and trusting that a seed’s incubation or germination period will result in the growth of a mature tree capable of continuous proliferation—replicating new growth processes on a larger scale and over a long period of time.
The same thing can be said about the pursuit of success. While journeying on the path to becoming the person you were destined to be and attaining the goals you genuinely desire, it’s often difficult to see the end result. Think of it this way. If you’ve ever been hiking on a long trail, then you know that there are many things that prevent you from seeing the end of the trail. First, there is distance; meaning, you simply do not possess the anatomical equipment to bring long distances into close view. Then there’s a host of physical obstacles to deal with. Nonetheless, despite the physical limitations and environmental challenges, you still keep moving forward.
Why do you continue moving forward, one step at a time? You do so because there’s a part of you—deep within your soul that believes you already have everything you need to chart the course successfully. You also know that it takes time and a lot of effort to hike the trail. You learn to appreciate the diverse ecosystem and timeless features along the way. You understand that the process—the journey, is just as important as the outcome.
An idea that seems ridiculously impossible to attain has been planted in your mind—it’s an idea that consumes your days and one that keeps you up at night. It is going to take every ounce of energy, grit and effort to turn this idea into a tangible experience that adds value to people’s lives. But here’s the takeaway. This idea has chosen you, just as you have chosen it. Everything you will ever need along your journey, you already have. Trust yourself and trust the process, and it will all work out in your favor.
“Everything you will ever need along your journey, you already have. Trust yourself and trust the process, and it will all work out in your favor.” It is a Big Truth and we all have it inside us. The only thing we have to do is to uncover it.

I love this article and just before it I read the You are worth it posted in October 2016, which I slightly disagree with and this one here came as an echo to my feelings. 🙂 Funny. By coincidence went through a material lately that described the same idea you put out here.
