Do You Have A Blueprint For Your Life?

In order to build and live the life you have always imagined, you have to build and live that life twice. You first build that dream, that vision and that passion in your mind, then you build and live that dream in reality.

Your vision for your life, no matter how big, will not come to fruition unless you first see yourself already living that lifestyle. You cannot just get up and tell yourself, “All right, I think today I am going to accomplish my ridiculously impossible goal” without having a vision AND a plan—a written plan, that is.

In this episode of The Mindfullness Show, I discuss why having a written plan is a proven way to figure out and prioritize what is most important to you. A written plan is a verifiable framework from which to define and contextualize your life’s purpose. A written plan enables you to outline, forecast and implement focused and intelligent actionable strategies in order to achieve your desired outcomes, aims and objectives.

  1. Wow! I think you’re reading my mind today. I was just thinking that today I need to actually write down my full plan for what it is I am trying to do in the next week, month and year. Thanks for reminding me too. I had thought about it earlier today but got sidetracked.

  2. Josiah you are an inspiration man
You’ve opened my eyes and brain into thoughtfulness about the steps to take to achieve what I aspire. Great stuff…
    Inshallah Josiah.

  3. Wow! I needed to hear this and I now need to put this in action.

I love your illustration about the blueprint for a house. I know I should be planning my day and writing out that plan but I keep thinking I can’t spare the time and often try to keep the goals/To Do List within my head but then of course I forget most of what I should be doing, or decide to do something else.

The two things I want to take away from your broadcast is:
    1) plan to move from good to great
    2) don’t just think amazing thoughts – implement an amazing plan.

Thank you so much for this inspirational post and broadcast.

      1. Great point, J. The last few weeks, I have been slipping from where I used to be and where I need to be again. My focus has been challenged and my inspiration isn’t what it was. Thanks for these timely words.
