The universe has an interesting way of reminding us of our inherent courage, value, and penchant for creativity that can usher in more profound levels of happiness and fulfillment.
Whenever you feel down and out about yourself, about your progress, about your growth, pause and ask yourself the deeper question. How am I going to save the world?
Now that you have had time to ponder on a question of such ontological magnitude, consider the following.
It is not your destiny to save the world.
See how easy that burden was lifted? Now, this is not to say that your contribution will not make a difference in the world, because it will.
Here’s the connection. When the humdrum of daily life begins to get to you, this is happening because you are making headway toward a significant breakthrough. Remember, life’s grandest events and experiences are birthed in darkness. See my post on the subject.
We often get so close to bringing our greatest work to fruition but stop short because of momentary bouts of unfulfillment.
You would do well to remember that it is in those moments of darkness that the universe is speaking to you—reminding you that you are enough—that you can find ways to maximize your time with the highest concentration of “Damn, that was good.”
All you have to do is pause, listen, and go with the flow of life.

Good things to think about. The stress of the past 4 years has made creativity more difficult and more necessary than before.
I really enjoy reading your blog.
